“雙子二重奏”---袁煥翹和袁銳翹​

雙胞胎鋼琴演奏家袁煥翹與袁銳翹畢業於香港中文大學音樂系，主修鋼琴，師承著名鋼琴家吳美樂博士及楊習禮先生。2008 年，姊妹二人雙雙獲德國魏瑪李斯特音樂學院（Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar）錄取，並於 2011 年同時襄括鋼琴演奏及鋼琴教育雙碩士學位；留德期間，隨德國鋼琴大師 Daniel Röhm 潛心深造。此外，她們亦持有倫敦聖三一音樂學院最高演奏文憑（FTCL）及英國皇家音樂學院演奏文憑（LRSM）。

​袁氏姊妹組成雙鋼琴組合 「Duo Gemini」，積極活躍於本地及國際樂壇，演奏足跡遍及海內外。她們曾多次受邀參與重要演出，包括「香港德國少年兒童鋼琴精英演奏會」及「香港深圳青少年鋼琴交流演奏會」等。

​2018 年，她們獲邀與香港中文大學崇基管樂團合演鋼琴協奏曲，同年亦受明愛專上學院之邀舉辦四手聯彈音樂會。2023 年，「Duo Gemini」成功復辦疫後首場雙鋼琴音樂會，並獲通利琴行特邀擔任「第 87 屆施坦威（STEINWAY & SONS）國際青少年鋼琴比賽」的表演嘉賓。近期，她們於 2025 年獲得香港藝術發展局資助，與法國五月藝術節（French May）攜手呈獻演奏會《夢幻與泡影》，備受業界與觀眾讚譽。

​在國際與本地賽事中，「Duo Gemini」同樣屢獲殊榮，曾贏得「第三屆中國作品鋼琴比賽」雙鋼琴組之「中國作品演奏獎」，以及在日本京都舉辦的「第十屆國際鋼琴二重奏比賽」中榮獲「評判特別獎」。

​Twin pianists Jamy Yuen and Kimy Yuen graduated from the Department of Music at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), majoring in piano under the tutelage of renowned pianists Dr. Mary Wu and Mr. Raymond Young. In 2008, the sisters were both admitted to the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar (Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar) in Germany, and in 2011, they concurrently obtained double master's degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy. During their time in Germany, they pursued advanced studies under the German piano master Daniel Röhm. Additionally, they hold the Fellowship of Trinity College London (FTCL), the highest performance diploma, and the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) diploma.

 

The Yuen sisters formed the piano duo "Duo Gemini," actively performing in both the local and international music scenes, with their artistic footprints extending worldwide. They have been frequently invited to participate in major performances, including the "Hong Kong-Germany Young and Children Piano Elite Concert" and the "Hong Kong-Shenzhen Youth Piano Exchange Concert".

​In 2018, they were invited to perform a piano concerto with the Chung Chi Wind Orchestra of CUHK, and in the same year, they were invited by the Caritas Institute of Higher Education to hold a piano four-hands concert. In 2023, "Duo Gemini" successfully staged their first post-pandemic duo piano concert and was specially invited by Tom Lee Music to serve as guest performers at the "87th Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition". Most recently, in 2025, with the support of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, they collaborated with the French May Arts Festival to present the concert "Eclair", earning widespread acclaim from both industry peers and audiences.

​"Duo Gemini" has also garnered numerous accolades in local and international competitions. They won the "Chinese Works Performance Award" (Piano Duo category) at the 3rd Chinese Piano Works Competition, as well as the "Jury Special Prize" at the "10th Kayabuki Ongakudo International Competition for Piano Duo" held in Kyoto, Japan.
